2025 Agronomy New Zealand Hamilton Conference

The 2025 Agronomy Society Conference will be jointly held with the New Zealand Grassland Association and the Society of Animal Production in Hamilton (Kirikiriroa) at Waikato University.
The full conference will run from 8.00 am Tuesday 11 Nov to 4.00 pm Thursday 13 November 2025.
(Please note the later than normal finishing time is due to the 11th International Symposium of Grass Microbial Endophytes (ISGME2025) also being run in conjunction with the main conference).
We are now calling for papers for the 2025 Agronomy Society Conference on all aspects of crop agronomy in a New Zealand production context. Conference papers will be published in Agronomy New Zealand.
Papers that consider the adaptation of agronomy to a changing production environment are strongly encouraged.
Session topics may include (but are not limited to):
- Biosecurity threats due to climate change
- Adaptation for a changing climate
- New crops/species for arable systems
- Water use in a changing climate
Key dates are:
Title only submissions due 28 April 2025
Full manuscript due 6 June 2025
